The Midwife Model of Care
Midwives address pregnancy and birth in a much different manner than Obstetricians. They seek to help empower and support the mother through her journey and offer emotional support as well as routine medical care throughout care. This model of care has greatly helped to reduce the incidence of birth trauma, injury, and cesarean section.

Meet the Midwife
Maureen Berning is a Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife who graduated from Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in 2020.
